OUR MISSION

To recruit, educate, and mobilize Latinas to participate in the political process and support progressive issues.

 
WHAT WE DO 

ORGANIZE

Our organization is rooted in the ideals of community building and community investment. We support programs that advance Latina issues and our community. We organize and mentor young Latinas to learn about the political process, empower them to get involved in political campaigns, and encourage them to consider running for elected office someday.

ENERGIZE

We strive to recruit and train progressive candidates whose platform provides a direct benefit to Latinas and their communities. We recruit, mentor, and train these candidates. We assist their campaigns through fundraising, strategizing, and volunteering.

MOBILIZE

We focus our energy on voter registration. Our aim is to increase the election turnout of Latinas and encourage their direct participation in the political process. We encourage Las Adelitas members to take part in social justice efforts and to advocate with their elected officials for relevant issues. We participate in community events by sponsoring presentations and featuring informational tables that spread the word about Las Adelitas.
